And, as this 11 Trends project has actually constantly intended to do, to use ideas not addresses about what may come next.

Digital donors expect seamless offering experiences, one-click checkouts, mobile-friendly donation types, and engaging online storytelling. An additional post from Not-for-profit Tech for Good strengthens this message: donors in 2026 will support companies that have more powerful websites, modern-day CRM systems, mobile-first donation pages, and constant digital marketing methods especially for more youthful donors and recurring givers.

Online merchandise shops and paid digital offerings are now mainstream revenue streams.

Scaling Company Giving Outcomes

The past couple of years have tested charities like never previously. New research study from Blue State recommends that it is.

That's over 4 million more donors than in the previous year the greatest level of giving ever tape-recorded. And while the typical contribution remained stable (169 ), that suffices to press general charitable providing to new heights (echoing Charities Help Foundation (CAF)'s finding that public contributions increased to 15.4 billion in 2024 a 1.5 billion boost in individual offering vs 2023).

And while homes earning under 15,000 a year saw a 60 percent decrease in average donation worth, more of them are offering, which shows their continual generosity regardless of challenging times, with the portion of people who said they supported charities in any way increasing from 67 percent to 77 per cent.

In the last few years, we saw an increase in cancelled direct debits as donors had problem with long-term providing commitments, however we're seeing a welcome stabilisation: the portion of people who self-reported they cancelled some or all of their regular gifts dropped from 17 per cent in 2023 to nine percent in 2024. That's terrific news for income predictability and shows that a strong retention programme will settle.

Maximising Corporate Giving Impact

More youthful donors (18 to 34) stay even more most likely to cancel (11 per cent) than those over 55 (just two percent). You can read more about retention patterns for both routine and one-off gifts in the full report. Offering patterns aren't just formed by earnings. Our data continues to strengthen the fact that ethnic minority neighborhoods and people of faith are amongst the most generous donors in the UK.Donors in our sample who self-identified as any ethnic minority (representing roughly 10.9 million people in the UK) offered approximately 279 in 2024, compared to 153 for donors who self-identified as 'White British'. Within that group, donors who recognized as 'Black 'or 'Black British' provided the most, with an average yearly contribution of 449. Spiritual donors gave nearly three times more than those who picked 'no faith' (223 vs 81), with Muslim donors contributing the most at 373 on average in 2024. Our team at Blue State has been doing far more in this space recently and are offered to talk if you are thinking of diversifying your donor pools.

Among 18 to 34-year-olds:17 per cent donated through video gaming or livestreaming in 2024, nearly double the 2022 figure (9 per cent).16 per cent reported participating in a protest in 2025, up from just five percent in 2023. The big photo is encouraging: more people are offering, general individual providing is greater than ever, greater earnings donors are increasing their offering, and donor retention is stabilising.

Fundraisers will require to: Balance volume with value, acknowledging that higher-income donors are increasingly important to sustaining providing. Build much deeper connections with young donors, using flexible methods to consider that meet these donors' expectations, and offering tailored journeys to resolve greater cancellation threats. Prioritise inclusion and cultural understanding. Donors of minority backgrounds and various faiths are leading the sector when it pertains to kindness.
